Course Offered
The duration of the above mentioned degree course shall be for a period of Five years and Three years respectively. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. The academic term shall ordinarily be between July to December and January to June.
Both the courses are full-time course and no student is permitted to pursue simultaneously any other course. Admission of student can be cancelled at any stage for violation of this rule.
As Per BCI guidelines, no students of any degree program shall be allowed to take the end semester examination if the student concerned has not attended minimum of 75% of the class held in the subject concerned. In any exceptional cases, the principal at his discretion may allow those student with attendance of at least 65% of the class held in the subject and not below that.
Eligibility For Admission
B.A., LL.B (HONS.) As per Bar Council of India (B.C.I.) Rules, a candidate opting for admission to the Five year course must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination securing in aggregate not below 45% of the total marks in case of general category candidates, 40% of the total marks in case of SC, ST & OBC candidate.
LL.B As per Bar Council of India (B.C.I.) rules, a candidate opting for admission to the Three year course must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 45% aggregate marks in case of general category candidates, 40% of the total marks in case of SC, ST & OBC candidate.
