Admission Procedure
Admission into the 1st semester of B.A., LL. B (Hons.)/LL.B. Courses shall be on the basis of Ajmal Law College Entrance Test (ALCET) conducted by the college. (Admission will be purely on Entrance test.) Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination [i.e. (10+2) & UG final Semester respectively for 5years. B.A., LL. B (Hons.) & 3 years LL.B.] are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination.
The examination is to be answered in English only. The result of the entrance examination and the merit list will be put up in the college notice board and the website. Candidates desiring to appear in the entrance examination should fill up the online registration form. The admission forms and prospectus would be available in the college office and can be collected on payment of Rs. 500/- only and the same is also available in the college website.

B.A., LL.B (Hons.) Course
- H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination Admit Card for age proof.
- Pass certificate and Mark sheet of H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination.
- Pass certificate, Registration certificate and Marksheet of H.S. (10+2) or equivalent examination.
- Migration certificate for other state students and other Boards students, except S.E.B.A.
- Aadhar Card
- PAN Card

Reservation Policy
Reservation of seats for the students of reserved category will be according to the existing reservation policy of the Govt. of Assam and Gauhati University.
