News:: Result of Ajmal Law College Entrance Test(ALCET)-2024 for LL.B Course


Programmes: The College offers following full time regular courses:-

B.A,LL.B (Hons.)

Duration : 5 Years

Eligibility Criteria

As per Bar Council of India (B.C.I.) Rules, a candidate opting for admission to the Five year course must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination securing in aggregate not below 45% of the total marks in case of general category candidates, 40% of the total marks in case of SC, ST & OBC candidate.

Admission Procedure

Admission into the 1st semester B.A.LL.B(Hons.) Course shall be on the basis of Ajmal Law Entrance Test (ALET) conducted by the college. Admission will be purely on merit basis. Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2) are also eligible to appear in the entrance examination. Candidates desiring to appear in the entrance examination should fill up the application form and submit the same to the college office. The Admission forms and prospectus would be available in the college office and can be collected on payment of Rs. 300/-only. The examination is to be answered in English only. The result of the entrance examination and the merit list will be put up in the college notice board.

Duration : 3 Years

Eligibility Criteria

As per Bar Council of India (B.C.I.) rules, a candidate opting for admission to the Three year course must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with atleast 45% aggregate marks in case of general category candidates, 40% of the total marks in case of SC, ST & OBC candidate. Both the courses are full- time course and no student is permitted to pursue simultaneously any other course. Admission of a student can be cancelled at any stage for violation of this rule.
N.B.: Those waiting for their Final year result can also apply for admission in the programme.

Admission Procedure

Admission into 1st semester LL.B. shall be on the basis of merit followed by personal interview. A Merit list shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Degree Examination and personal interview. On the basis of final Merit list students shall be admitted.
